Lauf True Grit Weekend Warrior

The Icelandic bike with the weird looking fork. It is a favorite among Icelanders who have to deal with course gravel roads and tarmac which has been abused by the harsh elements and sometimes resembles gravel. The fork absorbs the small bumps in the terrain and the carbon handlebar gives a little extra softness so that the ride is very comfortable without the extra weight of the traditional mountain bike.
It has SRAM Rival shifters and brake system, disc brakes, 40mm tires with single sided SPD pedals (can be changed). The Lauf True Grit is full carbon with aluminium wheels, a 1x front setup and an 11-42 cassette in the back.

Canyon Ultimate CF SL 9.0 and Canyon Endurace SL 7.0

These Canyon road bikes are mid-range competition bicycles with Shimano Ultegra group sets, 2x in the front and a 11 speed casette in the back. High end aluminium wheels and 28mm tires.

Canyon Inflite CF SL 6

If you want a mix of a road bike and a gravel bike, this is it. The full carbon frame makes it light, the 33mm tire makes it fast but can still withstand mild gravel. We can sap it to a 37mm gravel tire to make it full-gravel ready. It comes with a SRAM rival groupset with a 1x setup in the front and an 11-36 cassette in the back.

Bike-loving, experienced partners

We love biking and although we have not been pro-riders, we do have our share of cycling experience in Iceland and elsewhere. We have biked the Iceland Ring Road a few times, The West Fjords of Iceland, around Akureyri in North-Iceland, the Vatnsnes peninsula and The Golden Circle race.
We will gladly share our experience with you when you rent our bikes.
